Description: Beautiful Oolithic or Fossilifferous Fulted Clovis - This fine LARGE Clovis was found in Kentucky and is made of what I believe is Translucent Haney Chert.  It has beautiful symmetry and flaking.  It is fluted on both sides.  I suspect this one was found broken, but I cannot be certain.   It comes with a Partain COA noting the fact that it is glued.  Partain states "This example is Broken at the Hafting Area, and the two pieces have been glued back together.  This Clovis has very little evidence of attempted blade edge sharpening or use, possible being as made."  I concur with his evaluation.  This is a beautiful example of a 12,000 year old artifact of SIZE that is priced at a bargain!  Ex- Carson, Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington
