Description: Fine Boyle Chert Kentucky Early Ovoid Knife -  Here is a well made Early Ovoid Knife made of Boyle Chert that was found in Bourbon County, Kentucky. It is thin and well flaked.  It has an Ancient "burin" fracture on one side of blade near tip.  (see photos).  In inspecting this piece, I discovered that it has minor "re-chipping" to one side of the very tip.  I have outlined this in the last two photos in the extra photos.
