Description: Kentucky Hopewell Blade - Here is a nice Hopewell blade with drooping ears and nice symmetry It is made of fossilifferous Boyle Chert.  It was found by members of the Burgin & Day Families and this collection remained intact until we obtained it.  All the pieces in this collection were found from 1930 through 1970 in the areas North and East of Richmond, Kentucky in Madison County.  Ex- Shelby Burgin, Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington

Description: Beautiful Sonora Chert Hopewell -  This Fantastic Hopewell blade is made of highly collectible Sonora Chert.  It has a nice tip and well made base.  It is thin and has nice flaking.  It has excellent symmetry and form.  This piece is from the collection of Mr. Chan Strader of Athens, KentuckyChan dug, surface hunted, and collected artifacts all around the Central Kentucky area.  Mr. Strader passed away over 20 years ago and left his collection to his cousin, Bobby Dodd, who donated the major portion to the University of Kentucky.  Bobby's wife gave away a case of pieces that he had kept to a family friend.  Only these few items of this collection remain available to collectors.  Ex- Bill Harper

Description: Kentucky Hopewell found by Milt Williams - Here is a fine example of a Hopewell point that was found in Madison County, Kentucky by Milton Williams, author of "Ancient Man of Central Kentucky".  It is made from Cream and Tan Striped Fort Payne Chert of a variety that I like to call "Fort Dover".  It has f very fine tip and good symmetry.  I purchased this piece on 11/16/2005 from Bill Jones.  A Fine Woodland example of the type that has lots of color and displays well.  Ex- Milt Williams, Ex- Bill Jones, Ex- Monty Pennington
