Description: Fantastic Cotaco Creek - This super Cotaco Creek was recovered from a rock shelter in Southern Simpson County, Kentucky.  It has Very Nice symmetry and nice straight blade edges.  It is VERY thin and had great flaking.  The tip, rather than rounded as most Cotaco Creeks,  is made similar to the "Donnaha" tip on Madison and Hamilton triangles as described by Bob Overstreet in Overstreet 11 and earlier.

Description: Beautiful "Snow-Capped Ear" Cotaco Creek - This Beautiful example was recovered from a rock shelter in Southern Simpson County, Kentucky.  It has great symmetry and form with one upward swooping ear and one "snow-capped" one! It is wide and made from a high grade Hornstone.  It is VERY thin and had Super flaking.  The tip, rather than rounded as most Cotaco Creeks,  is made similar to the "Donnaha" tip on Madison and Hamilton triangles as described by Bob Overstreet in Overstreet 11 and earlier.

Description: Highly Patinated Early Copena Classic - This Copena has near perfect symmetry.  It is lightly serrated down both blade edges.  It has VERY NICE flaking.  This is an early Copena and the hafting and basal area are lightly ground. (see photos).  There is an ancient "burin" fracture about 3/8 of an inch long from the tip down one blade edge.  (see photos)  This is a Fantastic Copena that displays very well and has great flaking for the type at a bargainIt was found in Humphreys County, Tennessee, by William Stafford.   Mr. William Stafford passed away in 1974 and the news print that this collection was wrapped in was dated in the early 1980's.   Ex- William Stafford Collection,  Ex- Tom Davis, Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington
