Jerry
Dickey COA
- Description: Beautiful Pitkin Chert Serrated
Archaic Bevel - This nice piece was found in Lawrence Co., Arkansas.
Jerry Dickey called it a "Rice Lobbed" but I am not convinced
of that typology, so I will call it Serrated Archaic Bevel
with a Lobbed or Bifurcated Stemmed and it may well be a
Hardin Variant . It is made of Pitkin Chert and it has
excellent symmetry. Both blade edges are beveled and serrated to a
fine point. The hafting area is nicely ground. Ex- Jerry Dickey,
Ex- K. Young, Ex- Monty Pennington
- Size: 3 13/16 x 1 1/4 inches
