- Description: Kentucky Carter Cave Archaic Fishspear - Here is a Very nice archaic form for the Type! It is called a Fishspear. The stem and base are ground. This typology is called a "Fishspear" because of its appearance that resembles a fish, and not necessarily because of any specific use. This one has a Great symmetry and a nice tip. It is one of the finer made examples of the type that we have had. It is made of Carter Cave Chert and was found in Clark County, KY by Ernie Fox. I acquired this piece from him in 2004. Ex- Ernie Fox, Ex- Monty Pennington
- Size: 2 5/8 x 7/8 inches
