- Item: FP605 *NEW*
- Description: Very Colorful Hell Gap or Really
Nice Coldwater - This is a nice Paleo Piece or Transitional Paleo.
I do not have an exact provenance on it so I am not sure whether it is a
Hell Gap or a really nice Coldwater. It looks to be made from a
Silicified Sandstone or Quartzite. Not sure if it is Hixton or
some other material. It is a deep red to purplish black near the
base with a splash of white in the edge at top of the waist. It
has nice symmetry and flaking and may have been recoverd from a
watercourse. A very nice Paleo with Lots of color! Ex- M.
