- Item: FA257 * NEW * TOM DAVIS COA G-9 INVESTMENT GRADE ARTIFACT
- Description: HUGE Kentucky Lerma Blade - Here is a Center Piece for ANY collection. It is Truly a Hand-full of Chert. It is made of what I believe to be Cain Springs Chert, which outcrops in Fayette County, Kentucky. Cain Springs Chert is very similar to Brassfield Chert in texture. This Huge Blade was found by Jr. Whobrey who passed away in mid November 2007. Mr. Whobrey found this Big Lerma during the building of Nolin Lake around 1963 near "Sportsman's Paradise" in Grayson County, KY. Was once in the collection of Hank Merideth. This is a GREAT example of the TYPE.... an Early Archaic Lerma Blade! Surely one of the Larger of this Type. It comes with a Tom Davis COA grading it a G-9. - Item: FA694 *NEW* TOM DAVIS COA G-10
- Description: Fantastic Lerma or Cobbs Archaic Knife - This Fantastic Blade was found in Trigg County, Kentucky by Trency Scroggins. I
was not sure how to type this Fine Knife, either as a Cobbs
or as a Lerma, but because of the flaking, I lean towards an
Extraordinary Lerma. It comes with a Tom Davis COA grading it a G-10.
