The defining difference in these scrapers and ones from much earlier is that, although they are shaped the same, the ones found on Fort Ancient sites are NOT Uni-face, but rather bi-facially flaked. This is a very nice example of a Fort Ancient Type Scraper. Is is made of "Kentucky" Blue Hornstone. Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington
