- Description: Huge Dover Chert Ramey Knife or Snake Creek - Here is an excellent Dover Blade that measure over 7 inches in length. It has beautiful flaking and a well made blade and tip. It has well made weak side notches about 1/3 the way up from the base end. It is made of beautifully patinated brown Dover Chert with a touch of cortex on the base. The hafting area from the notches down is Well Ground. This piece was found in Tennessee. It was purchased from Tom Davis many years ago. Comes with a Tom Davis COA grading it a G-10. - Description: Huge G-10 Snake Creek Blade - Here is a BIG Snake Creek Blade that was found in Laurel County in Southern KY. It is made of Brown shades of Dover chert and has well defined "classic" side notches. This is a GREAT example of this form with Very nice symmetry and shape. It also has a Quartz inclusion near the tip that has almost completely rotted out. There is only a small area of quarts remaining near the middle of the hole from both sides that lets light pass through. (see photos). Here is your chance to own a truly fine example of this type. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Tom Davis in which Tom graded it a G-10. This piece is pictured in the NEW Overstreet # 11 on page # 510. Ex-
